The concept of using a new material to break free from the status quo and achieve a design not compromised by in the box thinking is what spawned the Dynamo. Our new wing is lighter than any other wing on the market but this is not to the sacrifice of performance, it is also the most rigid wing we have tested.

These two attributes combined on the same wing produce a feeling unlike any other. Once you try the Dynamo there is no going back!

This new material that has unlocked the potential for un-compromised design is Called Dyneema. 100% produced from sustainable resources in the USA. The fibers destined to be in your wing are made in Georgia and laminated into a space age composite fabric in Arizona. The chemistry that brings us Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers is being used where extreme resistance to the elements and an incredible strength to weight ratio are required.

We feel like we have broken the code for ultimate comfort balanced with incredible power on tap. Traditionally wings had to be made with a larger leading edge diameter to provide the stiffness required to maintain their design shape, Dyneema fabric allows us to have a smaller tube size with higher internal pressure this achieves a greater stiffness in the frame. Combine this stiffer frame with a 100% Dyneema canopy and you get a wing that performs better than anything we have flown to date.

Our design Ethos at Five-O orbits a " Less is more", emphasizing an elegance in design and adherence to organic shapes that have been proven over the eons by nature. This path of design produces products that are pleasing to the eye and perform like they are born from the breeding of carefully selected thorobreed genetics.

Sizing- You will probably ride about a .5 m larger dynamo than your previous wing. The design of the Dynamo with its thinner leading edge and cleaner profile has a greater overall comfortable range than traditional wings. Refer to our wind range chart to decide which sizes are right for you!

This revolutionary Wing is made using Dyneema Composite Fabrics, a synthetic fiber with strength 15 times greater than steel and 40% lighter than aramid fiber. This material allowed for a smaller diameter airframe that opened up the possibility of using thinner profiles for better wing aerodynamics also making the Dynamo the lightest wing on the market.
The high pressure airframe is lighter while more rigid than traditional wings, this makes the Dynamo both easy to control and agile with an amazingly solid feel. The Dynamo’s airframe and canopy are also extremely UV and water resistant, making it perfect for all kinds of windsports.

As soon as I put this wing into my hand I knew something was special about it, extremely light, stable and tight. Leading edge and sail materials were next level. Absolutely love the simple semi ridged handles and exactly where they should be on the strut. As soon as I got up on foil it was magical, amazing power that was very predictable. First thing I did when I saw this wing was to grab my calipers. I like a sensitive wing that I can trim precisely so I knew immediately that this little 7” diameter LE was exactly what I needed, even before I got on the water. I’ve flown a dozen different brands but all of them had big fat leading edges. Tacks, transisitions and flagging are a breeze now without all that extra bulk. The high pressure strut also creates a tight canopy for upwind performance and precise adjustments. I think that this design is the future for high performance winging.
