We started Five-O in response to a sense of real disapointment at the available wingfoil wing options on the market and the poor material choices.

We don't make gear for the sake of it, we only develop products that are genuinely BETTER.

We started with wings and will continue to fix issues known to exist in windsports equipment.

Consumers call it the Parawing, we called it the Pocketwing, Early in 2023, we brought a Pocket Wing to the Gorge, something nobody had seen.

We are curious, seeking new forms of propulsion, new freedoms and defining disciplines.

Our curiosity led to most brands developing a Parawing and trying more advanced materials in inflatable wing airframes.

Yes, that's right. Our goal is to sell less by producing long lasting products, made with materials that boast lower stretch, better tear resistance and a design that you won't want to change.

We won't launch a product until it is ready, not because investors are pushing for sales figures, we don't look at the calendar for product launches, we look at the product.

We test our gear in Hawaii, The Gorge, La Ventana and beyond.

Our team of full time riders and part time testers ranges from 19 to 75 years old and covers a broad spectrum of abilities, physiques and demands.

We develop foiling equipment for those who want to experience that there IS a better way than the mainstream

We inflate and measure our wings and double check them against stringent criteria. We know that subtle changes in stitch pattern can cause a wing to fall outside the design's specification.

We don't waste these though, for those riders that don't mind a little asymetry, we can offer these as B-Grade wings at a reduced price.

Our warranty rates are below one percent.

Watersports brands have always had a bad habit of sponsoring men at the top of competition and, occasionally women (but let's just say in a way that wasn't very respectful)

Our principle team rider, Gabi, was selected purely on her style which matched our wings to perfection. In the years that we have worked with Gabi, her feedback has become invaluable and she is a key part of our development process.

In seeking the lightest wing design on the market we have stripped the design back to its bare bones and questioning the actual worth of each and every component.

We are curious and we develop equipment for the curious waterborn athlete.

When we find product that fails to meet our exacting standards yet remains useable, we offer these as B-Grade product rather than consigned to the dumspter or a warranty claim.
